ABOUT THE BANDS
B.I.G. (Brothers Igniting a Groove)
B.I.G. (Brothers Igniting a Groove) is an R&B Smooth Jazz and Old School Funk band based out of SoCal. Their repertoire extends to over 100 songs and counting – you want it, they play it! The core group was founded in 2002 by Marcus “Slim” Shaw”
Introducing the band:
- Marcus “Slim” Shaw – Founding member, bass and vocals. National Recording Artist with his debut CD titled “Choice”, worked at Nuclear Power Stations throughout the U.S. as a Radiation Protection Supervisor/Technician for 20+ years (it’s quite possible he never sleeps). “The Energizer” best sums him up!
- John Martin (aka Jon Mykal) – Lead singer. John is an IT specialist, sound engineer, and producer. Want to hear Prince? Nobody does it better than Jon (and all the other songs are above and beyond).
- Robert “Bullet” Harris – Full time musician on guitar and vocals (we’re convinced somebody pays him for his infectious smile)
- Kevin Henderson – Drums. The baby of the bunch, but by no means do we call him or his talents TINY!!!
- DeShezo Shenzo – Keys and vocals. The Toolkit, because he’s got all the parts! D.S. also does film and TV scoring, and audio/video production.

Grammy Nominated vocal group DW3 is today’s hardest working band in the soul business, working fans into a dance and romance frenzy with their R&B, Old School Funk and Smooth Jazz magic via a whirlwind of nearly 250 live performances a year around the world.

FAMILY STYLE
If you love live local music, chances are you’re already familiar with the soulful rocking sound of Family Style. This popular band has been playing blues, soul and rock and roll at local venues in Orange County since 1989. With a dynamic stage show and classic soul music from Earth Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Marvin Gaye and James Brown plus a healthy dose of rock & roll from David Bowie, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Santana and Van Morrison, Family Style will get you on your feet for a funky good time with music from the 60’s to 2000’s.

- There are 50-60 tables around the concert area and seating is first come, first serve.
- Live Music does not take reservations.

OUR RESTAURANT:
The Restaurant is separate from LIVE MUSIC. The Restaurant is open Monday through Sunday.

- Come early and enjoy dinner at the RESTAURANT, order from Restaurant menu and enjoy HAPPY HOUR!
- The restaurant ONLY takes reservations for groups 8 and more. Call 714-895-8020 ext. 108
- HAPPY HOUR is $2 OFF DRINKS and is only available INSIDE the main RESTAURANT & BAR on Wednesday through Friday from 3pm-6pm.
CONCERT PARKING:
Parking is always FREE at Old World!
- Parking is located in the high rise structure off Huntington Village Lane and Center Ave. behind the Hotel Huntington Beach or at the high rise in the Bella Terra parking lot. Follow the Old World Parking signs located on Huntington Village Lane.
- DO NOT PARK IN THE EAST OR WEST OF OLD WORLD VILLAGE PARKING LOTS. Violators will be towed.
BIERGARTEN @ OLD WORLD HB CONCERT VENUE:

- Pets are welcome at our BIERGARTEN outdoor patio area.
- No pets allowed inside TICKETED CONCERTS. Only service animals allowed.
- The entire area is dog-friendly EXCEPT for FRIDAYS and SATURDAYS after 6pm when we have TICKETED CONCERTS
